Patriotic Week

We have a weird event with a bunch of economic news the day before the Holiday in the US markets on Thursday.  Will any traders be trading on Friday?  I won't.  Happy July 4th, United States!

Back to Bed

The 3 month chart on the /ES looks slightly bullish.  The minute chart looks pretty bearish.  It looks like the market wants to make a move, but does not know which way.  It's back to bed for me.  I don't know what will happen.

Comfort

The /ES is in its comfort area.  It is not too high.  It is not too low.  Will it break out?  I don't know.

Resistance vs. the News

After five monster green days, the /ES is heading into resistance.  There is good news for the markets out this morning about Mexico and more.  Will this overcome resistance and so many bull days in a row?  I will wait and see and pray my gold still goes up!

I Am Seeing It.

I see a lot of support at /ES 2700 area.

Coulda, Coulda, Maybe....

Will good earnings keep the /ES above 2800?  Will trade concerns drop us quickly?  At this point, I could see both happening.

The /ES fought the good fight on Monday to stay well above the 2900 level.  Today, Turn Around Tuesday, may not have any fight at all.  I am feeling the down draft.  How low will we go and will we turn around today?  Geez, I don't know.  Take responsibility for your own trades.

Rockin' Ride Monday

After a 40 point drop in the /ES pre-market, it is difficult to tell if this is the beginning of vacating the 2900's or a strong push down in order to get in before higher prices come our way.  The first is more probable, but I don't trust it either way.  I will only watch today. 

Hold?

The bears showed up in a big way on Wednesday, but the bulls are pushing back at the /ES 2900 level.  Pre-market looks the same, but more pull back could easily happen at this level.  It still looks like a bull market in the /ES, that channel.  Wow.  Still, failure can happen at any level.

Up and Down

With an impressive push up from the bulls in the /ES yesterday, I am expecting some pull back today.

Knees a Knockin'

The /ES is staying above the 2900 mark, but on shaky knees.  Will it hold?

Which Way to the Top?

After a breather in the /ES yesterday, pre-market is showing some strength.  We could press higher, or this could be the run around set up to fail.

Will the /ES continue it's march upward today?  Could be.

Now Kenny Loggins will be playing in your head.  We are here in the failure area.  Can the /ES find strength to keep going up?  Good question.

Failure Zone

The /ES dipping just below 2900 and then pushing upward would usually signal to me that the market wants to continue the bull trend.  Caution is in order though as we are firmly residing in the failure at the highs area.  Be nimble.

Struggle at /ES 2900

The /ES ran up to 2923.5 pre-market then fell back to 2905.  Usually this would me to me that there is complete failure at the high.  Looking at the action now, I am not too sure.  But, this could be the beginnings of a pull-back.

Since When?

Since when does the market listen to me?  Well, we will just call yesterday an anomaly.  Now what will happen?  A turn around Tuesday?  A try and a fail?  I don't know.  I am still stunned from yesterday.  And, it looks like I need to redo my lipstick.

/ES 2900

Here we are in the /ES 2900's.  Will we be able to stay above 2900 in the /ES?  I don't know.

Unclear at the Top

Welcome back spring breakers!  The pre-market signal I see on the /ES tells me the high has been hit.  After watching the downward action, that maybe done, too.  Will we utterly fail to push into resistance?  Could be.  Could be not. :)

All Going Somewhere

That is about all I know.  The indices appear to be going somewhere today, but I haven't the foggiest what direction.  If yesterday was the turn around Tuesday it appears it was, then we should proceed down today.  Looking at the pre-market action in the /ES, it looks like the downward move is done.  It could go up into resistance today and then go right back down, but don't ask me the timing.  I don't know the timing.

Went things go pretty much as I expect for two days, the next thing I anticipate is the market kicking me in the head.  It happens so often, but today is a new day.  Perhaps we will have a green day in the /ES.

Ta ta Turn Around Tuesday

As you can see I am expecting a Turn Around Tuesday in the US markets today.  I am not sure how far we will fall, but I expect that the fall may be recovered.

Pushing into Resistance

The /ES is pushing up against resistance.  What will happen next?  I have no idea.  I would really like it if gold would hold where it is and then climb upward.  Did I mention I don't usually get what I want?  No?

Gulp!  It might be time for a pull back in the US markets today.  With so much happening in the news, geez, I am hoping it is not a hurtful pull back.

Strong or Thin?

This is a nervous area to be in on the /ES once again.  Is this strong action?  Is the air getting too thin here?  I guess we shall see.  After a shock upwards, I don't know if we can maintain the push up.

Wacky Turn Around Tuesday

While I was distracted by Gold yesterday, the /NQ slapped me in the face.  Wow!  The turn around may be done this morning, or not.  I don't know.  I have not really recovered from yesterday's action.

Can We Find Support?

I can look for support at /ES 2800, but I don't think I will find it today.  A correction may come before a push into ES/ 2800 will happen.  As per usual, I have no idea if that will happen. :)

Dare I

After a strong showing by the bulls in the /ES yesterday, dare I look to approaching the 2800s in the /ES today?  Yikes!

Freaky Tuesday

Either this is an A-typical Tuesday, and this will not be a turn around day and we go higher.  Or, this is a typical turn around Tuesday and the bears will take over tomorrow.  After holding steady above 2700 on the /ES yesterday, it hit 2730 pre-market.  I don't know, maybe this is gathering the energy it needs to push upward.

ES Base

After a two day visit from the bears, the S&P appears to continue to base build at /ES 2700.  Will we break out of this area this week?  We might.  Which way?  I don't know.

Hang Push

The /ES continues to hang above 2700 area.  Could it push higher?  Yes.  Could it take a break?  Yep.  Could it fall to pieces?  Don't know.

Turn Around Tuesday?

After so much climbing and it is Tuesday after all, will we have a "Turn Around Tuesday" in the /ES today?  Pre-market could signal a red candle today, but I am unsure.  The market may surprise me and push upward.

More Positivity?

It is a  win for the bulls that they managed to keep the /ES over 2700 last Friday and until pre-market this morning.  Will the bulls continue the sludge upward?  I have no idea.

Strong Like Bull

The bulls showed up yesterday in the /ES in a strong way.  We are not out of the danger area, though.  We shall see if the bulls continue to buy and press the market upward, or if the bears come out of hibernation early.

Oh Yikes!

We might have gotten a green candle in the /ES yesterday.  We are still in a very dangerous area.  The bears could totally take over.  The bulls could hold on or push upward.  The pre-market action makes me nervous, but I don't know what will happen.  There you have it, usual post from me!
