Crawl It Is.

There were some "double top" fears in the /ES this morning.

The fears remain, but I expect to stay near the highs (you know, probably).  I am expecting the bears to show up for "turn around Tuesday."

There is plenty excitement in the markets.

My thoughts are that because it is Friday, the /ES will be pushed around, and maybe it gets pushed above the highs just to keep things interesting, but probably not.

Going Up?

The market appears to have digested the FOMC news.  The question now is, do we rocket past resistance or crawl out?

What is my guess?  I think we crawl an inch then fall, then recover, then crawl an inch up, then fall, etc.

The action in the /ES is looking good for the bulls.

Of course, it is Friday and summer; so the market could be pushed around on light volume.  What I see suggests to me that energy is being spent to create a base at the /ESM6 2740-2770 area in order to work higher in the coming weeks.  The truth is, mine is just an opinion and the market could spend all day going lower or all summer.  You don't know for sure either.  I am not day trading today.  I am going to analyze some stocks and then go out into the sun!  Happy Summer!

Jail Break into the Thin Air

Now that the /ES has broken free for the 2720's, we are approaching the nerve wrecking recent top.

I see a struggle coming.
